Ronko is designed to estimate the likelihood of fight outcomes, not guarantee them. Every prediction is treated as a probability, and uncertainty is part of the model rather than something to hide.

Predictions are intended to be finalized before each event and retained afterward regardless of the result. Historical performance includes incorrect predictions as well as correct ones.

Methodology

How Ronko approaches a fight.

The model evaluates historical fight data and engineered matchup features to estimate each fighter's probability of winning. Predictions are generated before an event, reviewed for data quality, and then manually approved before being published.

Confidence Levels

Not every prediction carries the same certainty.

Predictions are grouped into Close, Moderate, and High confidence levels based on the model's estimated probability. Historical performance for each confidence tier is displayed publicly so users can evaluate how those confidence labels perform over time.

I'm a data analytics specialist and a longtime fight fan. After losing one too many bets based on emotion, instinct, or simply believing in the fighter I wanted to win, I started thinking about how I could approach fight predictions differently.

Instead of relying on gut feeling, I decided to use my background in analytics to build a predictive model that evaluates historical fight data and estimates each fighter's probability of winning.

That became Ronko Analytics. I built Ronko for the same reason you're probably here: to have more information before making a pick and to make decisions based more on data and less on emotion.

No model can guarantee the outcome of a fight. The goal is simply to give you another tool that can help you make more informed predictions.
